Thanks Harry, I just nearly threw up at work.

I think I'd rather eat my Nans toenails than that ****ing ****. :emoticon-0119-puke:

True, do they think away fans willl start drinking a few hours later instead? Or will they be turning up after 8hours+ of drinking?

If we both stay up watch us play at Newcastle or something stupid.
Bournemouth v Newcastle was a 12.45pm kick-off a couple of years ago. Ridiculous.

Yeah we had an FA Cup tie at Sunderland as an early game a few years back too <doh>

Like you say they really don't give a ****e... as long as the fanboys in Malaysia etc. are happy.

All designed to screw over the fans.
Not really, it’s designed to take the peak time Saturday night tv slot, the fans are simply collateral damage.

It’ll lead to alcohol issues at some games imo, as people will make a full day of it and will be hanging by that KO time on a Saturday night.

That could cause some proper scraps post game.

It’s all aimed at the armchair fan and **** everybody else. Which, as Sky is a Tv company, isn’t a great surprise.

Away fans will be ****ed, as they’ve been for some six nations games before. Game finishes around 10pm-ish, by the time you get out of the ground good luck getting home again!

Claude Puel is hoping "magnificent" Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez "gets his head right" and returns to his squad.

Algeria international Mahrez, 26, has not played for the club since a January move to Manchester City fell through.

The 2016 PFA Player of the Year had handed in a transfer request, and on Thursday Foxes boss Puel confirmed he would not be in Saturday's Premier League squad to play at leaders City.

"I think it is important to look forward," Frenchman Puel said.

"Riyad is a magnificent player and he loves football. He loves his relationship with his friends and team-mates," he added
"I think it is important in this difficult time to keep all players, and club, united, to continue the hard work on the pitch. The best way is to come back and enjoy his football.

"I hope Riyad can get his head right and comes back with us."

Has he got the same agent as Virgil Van Dijk-Head?

The 7:45pm KO is a pain in the arse for fans, but I have to admit that from a personal perspective it will be great to catch a game in the evening. I work Saturdays so I miss all the 3pm games and when I get home it's into the dinner/bath/bedtime routine with my little un, so I miss most of the 5:30 games too.

It will be great to get her off to bed and then watch the game with a few bevvies <ok>

Yes, it should be.

Do you think it will?

Not straight forward...but we should be beating relegation fodder if we seriously want to be in Europe next season.

However, it's Liverpool we're talking about here. We're about as consistent as beef jerky.

Nowadays I hardly go to games so having some Saturday entertainment gets a thumbs up from me.

I get how it'll affect STH's and other fans but that's their business. On a personal level it's good - better than Xfactor and all the other ****e on a Saturday night.

Although I reckon it'll start a few domestics regarding the remote control!!
