So Chelsea will have spent about £275m since they won the league last season.

Morata £70m
Rudiger £35m
Drinky £35m
Bakayoko £40m
Zappacosta £25m
Barkley £15m
Palmeiri & Dzeko £55m

United have spent £140m give or take £10m in the same time.

City must be about £270m as well when Laporte arrives.

Looks like a bad year for Chelsea on the outgoings front.

Dzeko will be a decent signing for the chavs albeit on a short term basis. He ain’t going be tearing up trees but he’s a proven PL player and would have scored a lot more goals for city if Aguero hadn’t been ahead of him.

There was a time when I’d hoped arsenal would go in for him, but Giroud is probably on a par and possibly a bit better on the deck.

Anyway compared to the ****e that Chelsea were looking at, Carroll, Crouch etc. Then dzeko is a proper signing.

No bias from me.

Id rather Dzeko in my team than Giroud. Dzeko is more clinical infront of goal, and he's not quite as slow.
