So you're trying to claim that you didn't say he was worth £200m, despite me just quoting the link where you said it ?

<rofl>

Yes, you idiot!

Do I say Alli is worth £200m?

No.

Have I consistently said that that's what it will take for Levy to sell him?

Yes.

Mind you, if Real/Barca offer us £100m for him, I'd urge Levy to take it (assuming that Alli isn't going to buck his ideas up and start playing for us, again).

Why the **** would Barca/Real buy him? <laugh>

Not really, they have an awesome midfield, they'd pretty much walk into every side in the EPL. Maybe Salah and Kante would get into the City first XI, but I don't think anyone else would.

If you watch, De Bruyne runs the show. He sees things other players don’t, and he has the consummate skill to deliver that vision too.

Silva is excellent, but it’s de Bruyne’s vision that makes him superb.

Because Jose has killed every bit of attacking instinct that the players have. His style of play is as far removed from the Utd way of playing as you can get.

I personally think the weight and expectations of the club is too big for him which sounds strange considering he's managed at Real and Inter.

We've played some decent stuff this season. We should do it more, make it a habit.

No energy in midfield without Pogba. Also need a left footed winger like Giggs who will stretch defences down the flank. Rashford can't cross on his left and always has to cut inside on his right.

To start with two defensive midfielders against WBA is criminal imo.

We'd have thrown that away last season. Made hard work of a ****ty little team there.

Pogba back after Bristol, hopefully Zlatan will get a run out there as well.

I wouldn't call Herrera defensive by nature and he's only playing because Pogba is out so I doubt he's there as a DCM.

We shouldn't rely on one player though. THAT is criminal. Without Pogba we're just way too cautious.

We started with two AM's as well, Mata and Lingard.

Kante?

No chance, Fernandinho is better.
I'm not convinced either way, hence the 'maybe'. Both are world class DM's, Kante at the heart of 2 EPL winning teams, ~KDB hasn't won any (yet). My point was Man City's midfield is so strong that they are more than the sum of their parts. KDB's vision wouldn't be worth **** without the others around him, you can't play a pass to an unmarked team-mate if they haven't put themselves there in the first place. I don't think KDB would look 'the best in the world' in West Brom's team because they wouldn't be making space for themselves. Silva, on the other hand.....
