It's never that simple, other than the obvious cock up for the goal the defence was ok yesterday. Midfield and up top they were terrible in the 2nd half.
Didn't see yesterdays game I will admit, but your defence has been dreadful for the last 2 seasons.
No movement at set pieces, half arsed aerial challenges, positional problems.

The current Liverpool side is the most unbalanced I have ever seen.
Attack 8/10
Defence 2/10

Sturridge looks broken.

Matip is nowhere near the player some of you lot think he is.

Completely disagree on Matip, he just needs a good partner. Any CB pairing need the 2 to work together and that's our problem Matip and Lovren do not work together or communicate. Individually he's very good, Klopp needs someone alongside him that can talk and organise.

Would help if you had a half decent goal keeper, both of yours are utter ****e.

Another thing Klopp is blind to.

We don't have quite the squad depth.

I hope I'm wrong, but on this form the title goes to Manchester.

On this form being the relevant words.

City were crowned champions during September last season and just about scraped 4th.

I cautiously agree that it is looking like them or United but there's a long long way to go, Spurs and Chelsea can't be ruled out.

Everyone else can though!

I've been talking to MITO about it here...

If you talk to most footy fans at the moment we need a new GK, back 4 and midfielders and maybe a striker. That's not going to happen and shouldn't anyway, getting one or 2 players in the right position will make a massive difference to the whole thing I have been using Matic as an example he's just one player but has made a massive diffrence to your team as he gives others the confidence to play.

For us, actually winning a league game at Wembley would be a big help if we're gonna mount any kind of serious title challenge.

Our away form is runaway championship winner stuff.

On Match of the Day on Sunday night, the poll for he September goal of the month competition was held.
Man United defender Antonio Valencia scooped the top prize.
Valencia memorably got the fans at Old Trafford on their feet with a stunning goal for Man United v Everton.
The South American star rocketed a right-footed volley from outside the box into the top corner of the net.
The Man United right-back scooped up a whopping 47% of the vote to finish up in first place.

Plus the thrashings we handed out at the end of last season to Leicester and Hull.

And how did Liverpool just do against Newcastle?

Last season doesn't count mate. Chelsea won the title.

And Liverpool are ****. Fully expecting more results like the Newcastle one for them this season.
