Not much more than Jose to be fair, and spending money does not always guarantee success.

Roman and Chelsea have been one of the exceptions not necesarily a rule

If Pep was a genius then spending £170m on top of having Aguero, DeBruyne, Silva, Stirling and Kompany should have at LEAST led to a title challenge.
Instead he failed miserably yet he was excused. It was claimed it 'wasn't his team"...he spent £170 in one window but it's not his team?
<laugh>
He has now spent a further £210m ... £380m in 16 months means he should be winning everything in sight yet instead of pointing out that he is buying success pundits are praising him for building a team.
Utter bollocks imo

Well yesterday was a bit meh... Took a wrong turn on the way back and ended up on the m5 too... ****ing detour <doh>

And yes it's a joke that Pep will be considered a genius if they win the league.

Fancy United will anyway.

I took Stan Jr and his mate to a non league game today. His mate is a bit of a bell end when it comes to football, partly because he doesn't come from a footie family.

After I'd paid for his ticket and we'd got into the ground the first thing he said was "why would anyone support this lot, they're not even Premier League?"

He then mocked the ground, the facilities and the fans. We sat in the family area for the first half and then stood behind the goal with the nutters in the second half.

On the way home I couldn't help not lecturing about how the PL has ruined how young people view football which inevitably led into my monologue about why I hate fantasy football!

I know the obvious response to this post will be "you're a Man United fan" but I don't give a **** <cheers>

Yeah, but you're a Man United fan :bandit:

Ffs .. can you never stop being a petulant tart <laugh>
I said that ALL the stats showed they were superior on the night.
And it was a poor chelsea performance. Misplaced simple passes throughout are a sign of a poor performance.
You actually said that apart from the excellent goal there was not a lot between the teams.
Imho there was a gulf between the team yesterday.
No one argued that point Colin and it wasn't a poor Chelsea performance also there wasn't a lot in it as at 0-1 anything could happen so given City were very much on top that still could have dropped points. In the face of probably the best performance this season so far I thought we did well to stay in it until the very end.

Shame we can't get hold of Liverpool this side of the international break and rag them senseless, hopefully the internationals will come back injury free and still brimming with confidence.

Neutral perspective.

Citeh did a job on Chelsea yesterday ... arguably the best display I've seen from any side this season so far. Thought losing Aguerro and Mendy might burst their bubble, but far from it ...<cheers>
Agree with this. As I said earlier, finish above City and you'll win the league. Best side so far this season.

You have misinterpreted what ive said.

Firstly going on a inpressive dribbling to score on a few occasions doesnt mean that should be our tactic. Expecting hazard to dribble past 4 and bang it in.

Secondly i was talking about running off the ball into (preferably forward) and into areas to make the defence uncomfortable /stretch the defence. Neither really do this both like to drop deep or wait for the ball to come to them rather than making dangerous runs which doesnt help fabregas game especially against an opponent like city

So after the next matchday, London's five clubs should finally overtake the goals scored tally of Manchester's two clubs.

Currently it's 42 goals scored by London's five clubs and 43 goals scored by Manchester's two clubs.

Chelsea manager Conte said Chelsea 'gave everything' against City. Really? From what I saw they were picked apart like helpless pigeons.

They were scared and gave City too much respect.

Might be the Stamford Bridge hoodoo..thats 2 losses at home now...Think the chavvy ****s need to shut their mouths about Wembley and concentrate on their own game

****ers

:)

Haha you cant just move hoodoos like that spurlock.

Just face it theres a wembley curse. Theres no way you have this phenomenal away record but have an winless home record without their being some sort of curse
