All bias aside, one has to look at this objectively and dispassionately.

We have arguably the strongest first XI in the league.

Even if you want to dispute that, you cannot deny that we have one of the top 4 strongest squads in the league.

This Wembley "hoodoo" talk is sheer bollocks, and is going to be used by the media to put us down. We could go on a 9-game winning-streak and when we lose the tenth game those Sky/TalkShite/Daily Mail ****ers will pipe up with "the Wembley hoodoo strikes again!" bollocks.

Those of you who properly understand footy and who have more than a mere scratch 'n' sniff knowledge understand exactly what I am saying, and you know I am right.

Who would argue you have the strongest first XI in the league?

How nice of you fella <hug>

That'll be our best finish in the PL era... Europe here we come <diva>

It's ok Libby you know me..anyway...Pool to finish above Spurs for avatar change....but of course we are going to finish 6th so you're in with a great chance too...game? i'll ask you again sometime during the week for confirmation like.

Strongest first XI - could argue it but I'd disagree.

One of the top 4 strongest - undoubtedly.

Wembley hoodoo - Until you go on a run like that people are right to question it. You won what, 17(?) out of 19 home league games last season and have failed to win any of 3 so far... you really need to get that first league win there under your belt as the longer it goes it will affect the players too. Who are your next couple league games there out of interest?

Already got a Spurs bet for bants with @PleaseNotPoll as he was the only one who would take it <ok>

We play Huddersfield away. Then, it's Bournemouth and 'Pool at Wembley.

So, all three are highly winnable.

Bournemouth you simply have to win... fail for the 4th successive league game at Wembley and you won't be able to moan about people talking of a 'hoodoo'. I expect you will though tbh.

On 24 October, we play the Spanners in the EFL Cup, at Wembley.

That's going to be a bit sparky.

I hope Poch puts out a team of youngsters, and they kick some serious pikey ass.

Agreed.

I think 'Pool will be the easier game, as Klopp will be over-awed by the occasion.
<whistle>

Big win for Brighton against the Toon. Brighton need to win as many as their home games as possible because I think they will struggle on the road this season. They've only managed 1 point so far away from the Amex
