My mate played for Kiddy in the match against West Ham 24 years ago. They squad contacted the club, they still keep in touch, about doing something to commemorate it, they were told they were very welcome to attend, £35 a ticket, the club is looking to the future not back to the past.
He only made the game with 15 minutes to spare, bought a new car on the Friday, broke down on the motorway getting there. Team sheet had been handed in obviously, as he was Captain they thought they'd have to use him as one of the subs as soon as the game kicked off, he said fair play to Billy Bonds though, who said, "fark that San, I couldn't do that to yer, get ya boots on"
