The player that oiled up his arms, said he did it to stop players pulling him back. I was watching a clip on Luis yesterday, I think he scored four goals in some game, when he was playing for Liverpool, looked pretty awesome to be fair.
Yeh he has said that's why he oils himself up actually. I dont like it myself And it was probably against Norwich if he scored 4, great player, one of the best ive eathed at Liverpool in my time, bit of a tramp tho tbf
Haven't got Sky so will have to rely on you boys until MOTD (that'll be the day!) ... but one thing for sure ... we can't defend set pieces ...
I think Suarez was the closest I've ever seen to a Maradona, probably in size, temperament and technical ability. Sadly with every genius comes a dark side to their character.
I've got SKY but not BT, although the latter seems to have some of the better footie these days. I've only kept SKY, because NOW TV keep giving it to me for less than £20 a month, otherwise i'd bin it off, no way would I pay the full price of £33.99 having laugh - and I think they know that, I assume they must keep an eye on the prices BT charge.
Gerrard to beat klopp, calling it now. Be surprised if Stevie fc lose a game for the remainder of the season tbh
Can't see Leicester getting dragged into it, but so many changes at so many clubs, that anything could happen.
As said .. haven't watched it but will look at MOTD .... Brenda doesn't seem to think we have a problem defending set pieces but we concede every game from them ... very different to last season and quite obvious that the difference was Fofana and Justin ... both over 6ft and incredibly athletic... Justin should be back this month and Fofana potentially in January ... so here's hoping.... Dust ourselves off and get ready for the group decider in Napoli on Thursday ... where Tielemans should also be available
I just get the impression you are relying on the counter all the time, which you are very good at, but then that puts too much pressure on Schmeichel, which was evident through some of the controversy - so that would suggest a defensive problem? Seems negative to me, yet the match was entertaining, maybe it's entertaining for all the wrong reasons where Leicester is concerned, looks like they've lost their way somewhere. Also it's about confidence and I think I'd rather have the support of Gerrard than I would Rodgers, who comes across too aggressive or expectation of that, he brings up aggression in a lot of post match interviews, some of the younger players don't perform well off the back of that when in a hole.
