It's frustrating because we're playing really well at home but the away performances haven't been anywhere near the quality of last season. Pretty sure we'll be fine though, plus some good youngsters getting game time now which can only benefit us in the future.

Bamford being off form and then injured hasn’t helped like. You need another striker in Jan imo.

It's a tough role, too. He's not the best finisher in the division, but he works his arse off.
Got plenty of goals last season because of the number of chances they were creating.
Hard to see someone coming in as backup and grafting like that all the time with some quality, too.

I don't think so. He isn't taking the cups seriously and there's no expectation from the fans to go any further. This competition is just a nice side distraction and games to get minutes into the youth and fringe players legs. If we go through again that would be great but we need stay focused on getting out of this league first and foremost.
