A bit like Carlsberg organising lager tasting in a Guiness factory and vice versa on the same weekend
Are people honestly saying that professional women footballers who have played at the highest level don't know much about the game? They'll know more than any of us ffs. Get back in your caves
The point appears to be sailing over your head. She's just not qualified to be a pundit on this level of football. Are your watching or have you just decided that you're right because, you know, you're right edgy and that?
Just realised, we are in the 82nd minute and i have no idea who is in the Spain goal because i missed the line-ups and he has not been mentioned or had a camera shot he's been that quiet. Ooops, and now i know
She's there because she's female, not because she qualified to do it. It's reverse chauvinism if anything. She did nothing but talk soundbite ****e at half time Try watching instead of attempting to be smart.
My daughter has had training sessions with a woman footballer who has played for England ladies. I've heard the way she discusses the game and she knew her onions more than your average male football fan. It was cool listening to some of the stuff when she was going in-depth about tactics. Some blokes are just set in their ways when it comes to women and football, unfortunately. The younger generation of lads seem to be a lot more accepting and understanding, thankfully.
There are plenty women who have excellent experience and understanding of the game. Equally, there are male pundits who talk utter ****e. At least though, they are commenting on their peers. This one, this evening, had none of that. Which was the point. The channels are desperate for it to be a women being pundit or presenting, and it doesn't seem to matter how good they are at it.
