Maybe the issue is the fans on the pitch then mate........

He’s obviously been provoked there by something, and tbh it doesn’t matter what it was, as the fans simply shouldn’t have been there.

Of course that's the issue, but you're never going to fully stop pitch invasions so you can't do nothing and make out its okay to lash out.

Don't get me wrong part of me would have loved to have seen him floor the little gobshite but in reality you can't react like that.

Yep it’s a bit unfair, because if the guy was being a twat then anyone of us would have reacted the same way.

But he’s a professional footballer and he simply can’t behave like that and not expect some kind of action.

Just personally thought he won the ball then went through the player. It's a challenge you do see quite often

Also be interesting to see why the ref changed his mind after having his yellow card out... was it all the Wigan fans surrounding the ref or was someone in his ear!

I can see fines for both Wigan and City for the fans behaviour

yeah it was one of them cant complain at red but was more of a yellow for me.

It was similar to the challenge from the wigan player who followed through and caught aguero (although delphs was worse as it was more 50/50).

Aguero will get banned though, i can't see him getting away with it.

Very pleased that City lost though even. Now Pep will be less smug

You’re missing the point mate, the fan was breaking the law and transgressing FA rules by being on the pitch. Aguero was therefore put in a position of danger, and the fan who goaded him had what was coming. If they try and have the player for that, there’ll be hell on. Won’t happen.

I think it’s the way aguero went after him that the FA will take issue with though.

If he’d just brushed him off and carried on walking away it might not have been such an issue.

But seeing as he had to be held back from sparking the guy, I think the FA will feel compelled to do something.

Even though the **** probably deserved a slap.

I understand the point, I'm just saying two wrongs don't make a right and he shouldn't react like that, especially as he attempts to have another go after being led away.

Do we want to send out the message that it's okay to take a swing at pitch invaders?

I couldn’t give a **** if pitch invaders get a slap tbh, as they shouldn’t be there.

The filth used to get the dogs and batons out......it doesn’t happen on a scale in the PL but lower league games it seems to be deemed acceptable after a big win, it ****ing isn’t, and it’s potentially dangerous.

Yeah maybe. I agree about the pitch invasion stuff. I can understand why it happens, but it’s just asking for trouble really. The players safety needs to be paramount.

I actually think it is providing it’s in a reasonable self-defence. In what other situation could thousands of scruffy oiks trespass like that?

It’s happened at QPR too in our rare successes. It’s embarrassing and just an excuse for scruffy ****s to be scruffy ****s. Also unfair on those in upper tiers who are denied the chance to applaud the team off.

He might have just laughed at Aguero, I didn't see no violence from the fan. Aguero like Pep and the gang are sore losers.

Give us your money but don't come near us....Scummy footballers. Wigan just knocked out the bestest team in the Universe so the fans were a bit excited, I don't blame them, it's their club pitch, they ran onto it...so ****ing what, they pay enough. Players don't complain about safety when they get carried off by fans like heroes.

Depends what the fan did at the end of the day

Doubt it was an excited fan. Probably some **** who wouldn’t dream of being there for Shrewsbury or Doncaster.

Admittedly no one but it’s still lame that any adult feels the need to run onto the pitch. It’s selfish but mostly just chavvy.
