They don't have to buddy ... they are already at Leicester and with contracts that mean they will be staying, if that is what we want ... the answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind ... much like you, in fairness
A lot of clubs have thought that about their players until the big clubs came calling. A player that downs tools and is sulky in the dressing room is not an asset to keep tied down.
... and to win it you have to have done what Sucky? ... take all the time you need ... we have been in it twice in the last 5 years ... one title and one FA Cup ... both for the first time in our history ... best barometer available for where we are as a club ... and we are getting better each season ... meanwhile Arsenal are disappearing like a distant ship smoke on the horizon (homage to HIAG there - he'd have appreciated that)
Did you see our lads celebrating a Community Shield win? ... we got a very happy camp with lots of smiles ... ain't nobody rocking this boat at this point in time ... whole place is buzzing ... like BuzzingFox Mick
Tbf mate it's the natural order of things much like the food chain. They'd see Arsenal as a step up like the bigger fish in the sea. But same token, had City or Livpl come in for Smith-Rowe instead of Villa, then Arsenal would be the mackerel to their snapper fish and he'd be playing for them right now. Natural order of things.
You are just an old romantic Every player celebrates a trophy win with his team mates, doesn't mean he won't be out the door next day if the right club whistles. Next year some of them could be having the same celebrations with new team mates
You are quite correct my friend ... but the big difference for us now is that we don't need to sell, so can play hardball ... our recruitment and transfer strategy is possibly the best in the League (certainly right up there) ... we learnt from our experience with Kante in terms of release clauses and Mahrez was made to wait for his mega move until we had a replacement coming through and were prepared to sell (Harvey Barnes) ... similarly with Chilwell we had James Justin and Luke Thomas ... both are actually better defensively (IMHO) and might well go on to become full England international's at some point ...
Suspect he was offering his thanks to God rather than praying to the Leicester fans, Sucky ... he, like many Nigerians, is profoundly religious ... but if you want embarrassing... we could get the lads to all link hands and celebrate in front of our kop when we next draw with West Brom, if you'd like? Levels
No doubt about it mate and it's solid, but the more important thing is you're also performing on the pitch. If you were midtable I think all that harmony and transfer strategy goes out the window to a large extent. Keep finishing Top 4/6 is the key here. I really think while that continues you're outrunning that mackerel bro.
...but it is his thing ... and I'm happy to respect it ...particularly if he continues his scoring streak into this season
