It shouldn't have even been a question, the match should have been cancelled and rescheduled, and UEFA need to organise events in such a way that matches do have time to be replayed, for what is rare events. Suggesting the schedule is too tight is not good enough. I know changes can impact fans, but that's what happens in any crisis, covid having the biggest impact as one.

As for updates about the well-being of Eriksen, IMHO it isn't helpful when the BBC cut to re-runs of programs, I just switch to the news or take to twitter, simply because we saw something happen, and we want to know he's ok, it's human nature. The problem then is verifying if pictures such as Eriksen sitting up with an oxygen mask are genuine, because the realiable sources have cut us off.

Charity adverts think nothing of showing us emaciated animals, and children in third world countries at deaths door looking nothing more than a bag of bones. Or news channels showing an enormous explosion that ripped away many lives and structures afar.

If anything showing Eriksen in a distressed state, is a reminder and teaches us all the importance of what's needed to save a life, afterall one day we may have to deal with it for real. I see what I look at not as a ghoul but an education.

Probably not. I do understand people's complaints, it wasn't nice seeing them zoom in on his stare, which was clearly evident he was in big trouble. Suppose I just question what's the difference between me sitting down to have my breakfast or dinner and see some cruely treated emaciated animal blown up on my screen, or some starving kids on the verge of death out in the Sudan - all during family viewing hours. Much like the constant advert viewing people's arses demonstrating these piss pads don't leak. We must have seen the Westminster Bridge attack replayed countless times, albeit with the blurring of the terrorists body. What did we see with a footballer player, chest pumps and a defrib, stuff we could all do with knowing, rather than expecting the dialling of 999 is going to save every life. Just thinking out loud, so to speak.

I love all this butt hurt around Sterling, twitter was full of it. If Kane or Grealish had scored, Phillips wouldn't have even got a menshy. Sterling scored and won England the game, he put the points on the table, suck it up bruv. ;)
