We ain't beaten a team above us all season (united and City were below us at the time). There ain't no way we are beating them. Leicester were 10 points above Liverpool with 10 games to go...wonder if the memory of last year is getting to them?
We could be playing for a Europa League spot...in which case Leicester will batter us...we haven't turned up once in a must win game since the CL semi final over 2 years ago.
Maddison said they had a few drinks on Saturday. Don't blame them like but you can't do that these days with a side like Chelsea two days later and it not affect the performance. 5th and the cup would still be a brilliant season tbf too. Bet vast majority of their fans wouldn't swap the two results.
... underdogs win cup final with spectacular goal? ... sounds fine to me. PS played you 3 times this season ... beaten you twice
Mate ... as we said before the weekend, 2 games against Chelsea which would we rather win? The City is still buzzing ... you don't do an open top bus parade for finishing 3rd or 4th (unless you are Arsenal ) the FA Cup is like the Holy Grail to Leicester fans ... ... and Brenda is loving being a legend. Our second most successful season in our history ... that's the real measure ..
We looked like a bunch of blokes that had been on stag the night before for the first hour ... Chelsea in contrast were still smarting from Saturday and well up for some payback ... Tuchel probably played them the clip of Daniel Amartey dissing the pennant as additional motivation
FA cup prize money against CL qualification, as a club I know which is better. As a fan I would take the cup win every day.
Were Chelsea above you in the league, beaten you in league already.... I guess you were underdogs based on Lampard being sacked
Again buddy ... we are not in need of cash ... first transfer is apparently over the line already ... we target good young players to develop and provide everything they need to thrive... inevitably some will move on but only for very good money ... nobody will remember who filled 2nd 3rd and 4th in 5 years time ... but everyone remembers who won the Cup... particularly if it's not one of the usual suspects
To be fair, they weren't a lot better on Saturday than Tuesday, their form has dipped so much from when they beat us 2-0 earlier in the season. But they have had another great season overall, even if they don't get top 4
We have done remarkably well to hang in there ... when we played you earlier we had Harvey Barnes and James Justin playing out of their skins - we have missed their pace and energy ... Vardy and Maddison were also fit then, whereas both have been struggling to overcome injuries ... Iheanacho has been rematmrkable in terms of coming in and scoring ... but we are nowhere close to those speedy attacks we were great at earlier in the season
I can’t see what he gains from that move tbh. He’s got credit in the bank at Lesta and Spurs need a complete rebuild. If that happened it’d be solely due to money imo.
