Burnley and Palace are both nailed on to stay up because they are two utterly **** away days, from anywhere in the country
Leeds tonight. Should be a cracking game with both teams playing a high energy style and liable to concede goals. So 0-0 then.
I forgot that was on, sweet. Should be a decent game that, their ploughed field rugby pitch permitting. Both sides need a result and aren’t the sort to sit in and try and grind it out, so could be a proper game of ping pong togger.
Assuming he stays, it’ll be interesting to see what they do in the summer, as it’s a coin toss for me whether they can push on and establish themselves as a top half PL side, or be yet another 2nd PL season syndrome club who come unstuck. They’ve been a good addition to the league for me, as you never quite know what you’re going to get from them, aside from a **** ton of running.
Fancy Southampton will all but confirm their prem status tonight. The relegation battle is where its at this season.. There's few clubs in it if Fulham beat Palace this weekend.
The pitch should be much better as it's 4 week since it was relaid, plus we've had a warmer spell allowing the groundstaff to get to work on it. The high winds forecast for game time won't help though. Looks like Phillips & Rodrigo still out, so likely we'll line up the same as at Wolves. Any team news from Saints fans ?
Some more great news for Kopites, our stadium has just been given planning approval, they’re having a great week so far Thoughts and prayers with dem red men during this difficult time. Amen.
The catalyst for a multi £BN redevelopment of the largely derelict North Docks, you’d have thought so eh mate. On the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey
Good news and should get rubber stamped by the Government in due course. Will be interesting to see the if the timescale gets pushed back at all due to the global effects of the pandemic. It's one thing saying all is rosy for the planners but quite another to actually commit to the financing arrangements that I'd imagine are already in place. Anyway, good luck as it looks amazing
Hope it moves quicker than our new ground I think 2014 it should have been started in. I've got more chance of living to see the London Theme Park going up in Ebbsfleet, than I have a new ground.
It doesn’t need rubber stamping by the Govt. they’d only get involved at this stage if the scheme was ‘called in’ due to any serious objections. It has just received 100% backing at local level. Even if called in, it’s a multi £BN redevelopment scheme in the North, no chance the Tories are legging it up over some beards whinging about an underwater dock wall. Finance won’t be an issue, the timescale of summer ‘23 might slip imo, but it remains their target date at this stage.
Its great for the area, was in Liverpool loads and always thought they need to do something with this **** heap area. A big gorgeous stadium will do the trick, the echo arena was a success.
Genuinely Why would we care? Still gonna be peasants in our shadow bro. Your post for example, should be a celebration for you, but instead your 1st thought is us. Im sure the new stadium will bring you all the glory that arsenal's and spurs new grounds have. Bang the new ground cup in the cabinet saan
