They had a ton of chances and should have had this game wrapped up by HT tbh. But at 1-0 it was always going to be on a knife edge. For all of their energy and dominance, they just don't seem to be able to put games to bed.
They had opportunities to get in and messed them up. They didn't have very many chances.
Don't get me wrong, they were far better than us in the first half, but it didn't lead to that many chances.
They only had three shots on target in the whole game and nine shots in total.

Quite a number where they were breaking in numbers and made poor passes or bad decisions. Let off.

I've noticed this with Liverpool under Klopp in the past, to be honest.
They run around like men possessed in the first half, but can't do it for 90 minutes.
Pochettino made a couple of tactical changes at HT, but they shouldn't have been as effective as they were.

Think liverpool just got scared. Think it helped a lot when you moved dele back too but they made it so so easy for you with massive gaps between the midfield and defence as they stopped pressing but still didnt drop off.

I see kane bottled another big games. Would have won it if he wasnt such a bottler <whistle>

Yep, they should have made a lot more of the opportunities/chances they had.

Kane had a **** game. His finishing was poor against Utd too or we could've had 5. Maybe the 100 goals thing was playing on his mind?
The ridiculous bullshit of them getting Moss to delay the penalty by having a little chat for 10 minutes probably didn't help, either.

Shouldn't have been a pen either as he was offside <ok>

Two Liverpool players touched it on it's way through. I don't know when they changed that rule, but apparently it matters now.
Irrelevant really, as it was saved.

We've had more penalties today at Anfield than in every other Premier League match put together, bizarrely.
Never thought I'd be saying that.

So much for your lot screaming every ref is anti spurs and pro "elite clubs" beofre every game eh <laugh>

I missed the game today as my old dear was taken into hospital and I've just got back, seems like I missed a bit of a thriller.

Sorry to hear about your mum, SMK. Hope she's ok.

You were better in the first half and we were better in the second. Most of the action was in the last five minutes! <laugh>

If you watch this from the second angle you can see that VVD tries to pull out of the challenge before Lamela throws himself into VVD's knee.
Really soft pen and poor decision.

I would've been happy with a draw before the game so can't complain with the result, it's quite possible spurs and Liverpool will get top 4 ahead of the chavs, I'd love that tbh

Link doesn't work, but the foul's with his foot and not his knee. You're wrong.
