Drop one of the two oafs up front, Eze behind the oaf you leave on, Mitchell at left-back and push Van Aanholt forward. Townsend is mediocre but better than Ayew.

They’ve brought in this Mateta bloke who is just another Benteke/Batshuayi and can’t get in over either.

He tried the Mitchell/van Aanholt thing against Leeds and they got battered.
I think that Milivojevic and Riedeweld as a midfield pairing just kills it.
Having said that, their alternatives aren't much more creative, even when they're fit.
