to be fair whenever I’m travelling with work in Germany Inwilll always get a kebab. Great bread, sauces and meat. Makes the ****e we tolerate in U.K. look like a turd.

Same in Norway

Cannot believe us Brits are happy with the slop we're served. Especially up the Norf of England

Went to Berlin on business many years ago now (around 2003). It was October and ****ing freezing but on the way back to our hotel one evening we stopped to get a Curry Wurst and fries at a little kiosk on the bridge over the river ... it was absolutely ****ing delicious ... your story resonates ... equivalent over here would be a roadkill sausage and over greasy chips <laugh>

Another place I go to quite a lot is called ranoush juice, its smaller shop of a chain called maroush.
https://www.maroush.com/

Mixed meat sharwama/shamwara? should actually be illegal its that ****ing beautiful to eat.

If you go to the actual shop you see them make it, big **** off wrap thing gotta be 18c diameter at least, then they dump all your meat and salad in and sauce and wrap it all up.

The absolute **** they are too.

curry wurst is also a must. Just skip the fries and get two lots. You can get the curry ketchup they use in some supermarkets in U.K.

Wolves resting a few players to consolidate their fourteenth position in the league when getting to a cup final would mean everything to their fans. Hope Southampton win 9-0 and Santo drowns in a vat of acid. Disgusting.

have to protect against relegation first. Like West Ham at Old Trafford showing zero ambition.

They're 12 points clear of relegation and their last cup final was in 1980. Ridiculous.
I will never understand why some clubs do this. The bloke would cement a place in club folklore forever if he won the FA Cup.
