Bruce got charged but found not guilty <whistle>
Fashanu plus some Dutch GK also got charged and Fashanu just "no comment" throughout his interview & the Dutch fella claimed his unexplained money was from a car theft ring in Amsterdam

or something like that .

Does make you think when you look back on matches. No one ever really questions a goalkeeper blunder. Grobbelar was a clown, and Sprake was just prone to the odd mistake, no suggestion on my part, but makes you think, when you see some goalkeeper errors.

I think the biggest match fix I ever saw was in Europe, Notts Forest....against was it Anderlect? Everyone knew it was fixed at the time, but I think it took a decade to come out, that the ref had received a bung.

Aye he did he just missed the ball entirely when coming out to clear it as I recall

He was a very memorable character that's for sure... There's loads of players I just forget even existed then see them on an old video and think ****ing hell I remember him, but that never happens with grobbelar
