Good question.

City were a bit like that last season. Pep appears to have learned though.

I think Pep always knew...he just needed the summer transfer market to put it right. The thing with Pool is, Klopp seems bullish about attacking and I feel as though he actually believes that defence is a by product and well he's not too bothered.

Therein lies the danger for the Pool

How much is down to Klopp though?

His Dortmund team were solid at the back. We have looked more solid lately as well but it all went to **** in the last game.

You lads would have enjoyed watching me on my heyday on Sunday mornings. I could clear the ball into the garden of nearby houses, home or Away

Football romance at its best
Yep neighbours garden for me, me and my mate from next door spent years crawling under the hedges to retrieve the ball without the guy seeing. Years later he thought it’d be funny to tell us he saw us all along and didn’t have a problem with us going in his garden to get it :emoticon-0173-middl

We used to have a grumpy ****er who we referred to by his door number only. Saw him in his garden one day with about 8 footballs in a bag.

I can almost picture his evil smile as he looks at you and sticks a pin in the balls
Thing is I now work for a housing association and if people moan to me about kids kicking a ball in their garden I feel awfully hypocritical if I side with the complainant

They were doing it at Newport and I remember seeing a couple in the 3rd round, can’t remember now but always makes me laugh. And the media still love to televise all premier league ties in the cups, muppets <doh>
You mean whoever Utd are playing? Can anyone remember the last time their cup game wasn't featured? (Not a quiz, I don't know the answer)

The run got broken by their 3rd round game at home to Derby didn’t it? (Albeit they were back on for the Yeovil game but no issue with that from me, proper cup tie).
Think it was something like 47/48 year.
I meant games like Liverpool v Everton last round or Palace v Brighton. Yeah great games in the league but in the cup I want a potential banana skin game like you at Newport, us at Fleetwood or Peterborough etc
