He's been doing this all season, at least.
Sets up to keep it tight at the back and avoid conceding as a priority, then chucks on attackers and goes direct late on.
A back five with two holding midfielders seems like overkill though, even for those tactics. Still could work, of course.

Sheff U’s bench is basically three blokes who used to work in the steelworks, Brewster and Sean Bean. I can’t believe Newcastle will be that **** that they aren’t a reasonable bet tonight.

Sheffield United did just win a game though, plus they've got us soon, so they're probably going to hit some form now. The ****s.

Dropping matty is a disgrace our possession increased by 10 % with him... Im sick of bruce he's far too negative... Utterly gutless.. We need a win he simply never has a go

You're well clear of the relegation zone though, as things stand. Ashley and Bruce will be happy with that.
 
Funny all these dickhead in the media saying Bruce's doing great, but a side that's not won a game all season are favourites to win.

Worst case scenario for him? Sacked, paid out, has a little break, joins another Premier League/Championship club.
If things were to go horribly wrong, then he might have to work for Sky or something.
