I think I gave the kiss of death to Wolves earlier <laugh>

They gotta be gutted by this result. They don't even look like the ones likely to score a winner either.

The foul for the penalty was probably just outside the box.

No complaints though as the the best team on the day won and we'll need to improve if we're going to compete with the Top 6 <ok>

Everything today was our own undoing, our passing in the last third was woeful, Spuds really didn't create much through their own quality, we gifted them everything. As good a goal the second goal was, it should never have happened, if Rodrigo hadn't been looking for the foul rather than getting stuck in to the tackle. We've now played all the CL contenders and Spurs were the least impressive.

Defensively I take it? He has to be just a bit more pragmatic about actually nullifying the oppo's attack.

Mind you, last time I mentioned your defence someone on your board pointed out half your defence is out injured for the season so fck knows tbh.
We just weren't good enough today.

Loads of good possession high up the pitch but didn't create any clear cut opportunities in my opinion. Plus we gave away another soft penalty plus the obligatory concession from a corner...you can't compete with Top 6 teams giving them 2 easy goals every time.

On the other hand Spurs were rock solid in defence and that's why we created zero good chances.

Spuds play a different style that's for sure...they are not easy to score against and have 2 world class strikers so maybe they are not as unimpressive as you think ?

Martinelli dropped to the bench today, bit gutted for the kid as he's been our bright spark recently.

In comes Lacazette who's got 2 in his last 2 though, so fair do's

I think we just made it too easy for them.
They didn't press us into making stupid mistakes, as in the woeful passing, we just weren't at the races. I lost count the number of times an easy pass to one of ours was 2 yds from the target, most frustrated I've been watching us this season.

Totally agree.

But Spurs did exactly what they needed to do...so I can't criticize them for keeping a clean sheet whilst capitalizing on our errors.

That's fair enough but don't think they have what it takes to end the 60 year wait for the title.

Robinson & Aubameyang to score, 3+ corners each team and Sawyers & Diangana to be carded.

350/1

Get on it
