Interesting that about Poch. To think he's been linked to us heavily. And that is the last thing we need in a manager. Certainly something to bear in mind.
I dont think they'll be asking you what you think bro.

Jus sayin

Depends on how we set up, I would have him ahead of Sig or Gomes. He has a bit of everything, plus a nasty little edge when at his best. Would hi offer more going forward than Allan or Dacoure - yes. Defensively no. Woudl he offer more than Rodriguez going forward - at this time no, but it woudl be clear he offers more in workrate/defensive cover

On his current form I’d not have him ahead of any of our starting XI or the midfielders on the bench - barring Davies. He’s completely lost his way for me, it looked like he was going to become the new Lampard when he burst through, but he seems to have been consumed by his off field millionaire lifestyle to me. He patently needs a move, but I can’t see anyone of note taking a punt on him apart from on loan.

It's also whether he would mesh into the preferred tactical set-up ... not sure he would for you... and certain he wouldn't for us right now ...

To be fair, with the time he's had out he'll probably be brilliant for you lot right now. He'll come in and reinvigorate things, ditch the primadonnas and build on those willing to graft, just like he done here.

Where he needs/ needed to improve is not to rest on his laurels. Once he built a good team here he didn't seem too intent on adding more players too it, felt as though he thought they'd last forever and get better, they didn't in both senses. By the time he realised we needed a rebuild it was too late, he'd lost the dressing room and results showed. A shame because with a bit more ruthlessness like he showed in his early years he may have done something really special here.

Hold on though, he cried virtually every transfer window about getting players but Levy wouldn't back him.

That was said about a certain player at United.

What are clubs supposed to do, pander to the player and change managers according to those whims?

Or should the players actually just do their ****ing job?

I fall into the latter opinion myself, and United did the former, which was a mistake.
Transfer values and salary come into it too much now.
