makes sense don’t it?

if it’s a weak league then one or 2 dominate, that’s why it’s weak

if it’s a strong league it’s because it’s got a lot of strong teams in it and teams have the capability of taking points off each other

makes sense to me
Except the bottom teams. But i admit it's good to see most others capable of beating each other.

Don't you get this level of excitement in League One?

I was on the edge of my seat wonderin' "oo will Sunderland beat Portsmouth or not? ooo"

then I never bothered to watch it or check the result

but you lost - right?

Why you ask, when you already know?

It’s a competitive league, which is good for the game. But as no one (except Sheffield Utd and Burnley, and they can’t score goals) seems capable of defending, I’m not sure it’s all that strong.

Know what you mean though. It’s certainly entertaining.

League One has a lot to recommend it over the PL. The standard of football is often surprisingly high, the terrace chants are wittier even though the grounds are usually half empty, and you don’t really have a handful of wealthy clubs carving it up among themselves.

Thought you lot would have made more of us losing last night. Especially the spuds.

Must be losing their touch

Anyway, appreciate the light touch lads <ok>

my Mrs is a Sheff U fan. Loved going with her to watch them in league 1 and championship (lots of years). It’s crazy that they were getting big crowds in L1 and the standard was pretty good.
Plus as Carragher pointed out, man Fridays On shoreham street is a great pre match chippy and just round the corner from where I lived as a student.

What can you do against one time League winners Leicester, the 5000/1 champions.
Was the game any good, was VAR/the loss of VVD for Liverpool mentioned in the pre/post match?

Made that point to Tobes before. At times the football is dire, but the comedians are worth the entrance fee alone.
