Rumours abound that Olie will be sacked this month and Poncetto will be crowned.
Can defo see that one on the cards. They should have gone for him when they gave ole the job.
true...I still believe if we had Jose back then...we would have bagged the CL final
that’s life though
You wouldn't have got to the final though, so.......
Ask mystic Smithy.we will never know

Yeah it's fair enough I suppose. He was given a contract so it's in his right to see it out on the agreed wages. Just ****s me off that he's clearly not in Arteta's plans but is happy to just ride out the last year of his contract and collect his fat paycheck without even kicking a ball.

At the minute virtually every side in the league can’t defend for **** tbf like.Best thing is he's had probably the opposite effect to what most expected.
He's getting the best out of Kane and Son whilst our attacking play is looking fluid when we're "on it" but we can't defend for ****![]()
i said before the season started that there would be some weird results , particularly early on , this season due to the lack of pre season and Covid .At the minute virtually every side in the league can’t defend for **** tbf like.
Not being part of Arteta's plans isn't his fault though. Plus, even though he's a lazy **** I'm surprised someone like Arteta who worked under Pep hasn't tried using Ozil to be Arsenal's version of de Bruyne/ Silva with regards to main playmaker.
I'd imagine he'd have happily left by now too if someone were willing to match his wages or if you guys were willing to subsidise a large portion of it to potential a buying/ loaning club.
Same with us and Bale, deal never would've happened if it weren't for Madrid agreeing to still pay around 60% of his wage. No way were we gonna pay £600k a week, not that we could afford that anyway, lol.
Long may it continue tbh as it’s boss.i said before the season started that there would be some weird results , particularly early on , this season due to the lack of pre season and Covid .
Mind you i'm not sure weird really does the present madness justice .
I find it incredible that literally no one came in for him tbh. Whoever agreed that contract deserves tasering. For all his talent, Ozil is a lazy **** on the pitch too and that’s why Arteta doesn’t want him. He wants grafters and players who will work hard for the team. That’s the opposite of Ozil who needs players around him to do the dirty work for him.
That £350k contract was a big mistake, but at the time he had us over a barrel as Sanchez was about to run his contract down and the club knew fans would be spitting feathers if they both went on a free.
Anyway, he’ll be off next summer so we can finally move on and spend that money on a player who actually works for the team.
Agree but are you suggesting that Levy is a cheap Charlie? Not being part of Arteta's plans isn't his fault though. Ozil is the equivalent of Chelsea’s Winston Bogarde. A complete ****ing time waster. We were paying that **** 40k a week but Arsenalbank were paying how much? Not being part of Arteta's plans isn't his fault though.
