I had to laugh when Big Yerry smashed that header in. It’s become a standing joke round where I sit, as literally every corner we get I give it the ‘get your napper on this one Big Yerry lad’ and of course he’s never netted in front of us, and then he does that today right in line with my seat ffs.

Same here. He should get 5-7 a season.

****ing bargain that mate ... but it's steaks tonight as it's the youngest daughter's boyfriend's 16th birthday ... and he loves a steak. <cheers>

Makes me wonder like, I don’t think I’ve ever really enjoyed a home-cooked steak, anywhere.

I just prefer mine cooked at a restaurant, maybe it’s just me.

I went to Gino’s in town for lunch today, it’s lovely. Anybody visiting Manchester or the few on here who actually live here should give it a go. Went for a risky seafood linguine but it tasted pretty fresh and the waitresses are all fit.

Nah I'm the same. For the money it costs to buy a decent bit of steak you may as well pay the bit on top and get a professional to cook it.

Missus has become pretty good at it tbf ... me and the girls like ours on the cusp between rare and medium rare, whilst the missus is more towards medium ... the real trick is how long you let them rest after the cooking ... like a nice bearnaise sauce with mine .... also got onion rings, button mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and home cooked chips ... banging <cheers>
