We got what we deserved ... obviously haven't seen it but we started with a completely different XI to the team that played Burnley. That doesn't sit well with me because it shows a lack of respect towards the competition. Presumably this means we'll be giving the Europa a proper go ... but I'm still not happy.
Small price to pay tbh
Good to see us winning up at Lesta with no Auba, Laca, etc in the team.
That's a 100% record so far under Arteta's revolution this season. Bigger tests to come of course, but happy with the start
Would have been a great chance for Leicester to put out the great youth that they have coming through. Arsenal for a domestic cup double this year?
Giz a shout if you need owt
We'll see mate. I hoping we push on for a top 4 spot as a club like Arsenal really should be in the Champions League.
We won the FA cup last season, so Arteta already has a trophy under his belt. Good start to the revolution that. And some more would be nice. But if I had a choice this season it would be to see up get back into the top 4.
tbf Arsenal women would have beaten that Leicester side.
Arsenal aren’t going from 8th to top 4
Think you're being a tad disrespectful towards the Leicester yoof there mate.
Savage yet true, Bruv.
I love how all the Gooners are saying, "We signed Auba so it's guaranteed Top 4 for us!" yet seem to forget that he was actually playing for them last season, when they finished eighth behind Wolves.
