Haven't posted on here yet as still fuming about our record signing dangling a leg at Anfield and costing us the game.

Hoping this is in some way cathartic but doubt it as we need points not plaudits.

Deserved win for Newcastle and as stated before think they'll have a good season and be well away from the relegation zone.

Thanks mate. But the opposition was very poor, against tougher opponents we'll need to do better.

I think you'll beat us both games, you're exactly the type of team we can't handle.

**** off, I'm a football encyclopedia.

For example, did you know that Noble was subsequently loaned to Hull City[15] where he made five appearances.[10] His Hull debut came on 18 February 2006 in a 1–0 away defeat by Cardiff City.[16] Noble's loan ended early after he suffered an injury to his lower back.[17]

Noble signed a three-month loan with Ipswich Town in August 2006[18] in the hope of gaining necessary first-team experience. He played 13 games in the Championship and scored his first professional goal on 12 September in a 2–1 home win over Coventry City.[19]

remember it like it was yesterday.
Not bad for a 25 yr old

Why you down? you gave a helluva match to the best team ever created<whistle>

Give the new signings time to settle and gel and you will do better.

Hoping West Ham, Fulham and one other are down the bottom and taking the pressure of us. Guess it's just normal to feel apprehensive until we get a few points on the board.

Ah I wouldn't worry. Our first season back up with Hughton we got spanked 3-1 at Man Utd, rest of the season went fine.

I think if you guys try to play like you did today every game you will come undone though, need an appropriate plan B especially if you're in a relegation dogfight. Reality is, sometimes you need to dig in, defend for your lives and scrape a few wins and draws.

You'll be fine mate, Liverpool didn't score a single goal from open play and two of the set pieces they had were dubious.
The first was never a penalty but Michael O'Liverpool said it was, the second i feel should have been a throw in not a corner but for some reason neither Sky or BBC have shown a replay of the incident.

First rule on this board, mags to go down, as they are mostly ****wits.

You may see things a little differently to your average fan.

Honestly not sure on the corner thing, as i said nobody has shown a replay for some reason.
The penalty was an obvious **** up though.
It's what VAR is for and fails constantly but that nick off the knee isn't easy to see and his arm is away from his body. Put it this way, if not given I'm not crying about it but can also see why it was given.
