iirc when this place first started it was mostly the geordies and mackems that first migrated wasn't it? everyone else sorta followed?

GC came the year before the football but the NE boards were certainly among the busiest early on. Yours is pretty quiet now really.

There's still loads on our board from the old 606 too.

Yeah, a bunch of guys come back when some big news drops, it's less to due with the site and more to due with the lack of interest surrounding the club tbph

but yeah it was great at the start, and the mackem board was I must admit ****ing amazing. Easily the best, they'd let anyone on. The banter was great.
 
The mackem board only got really busy again about 6 months ago when another forum started to become heavily moderated, RTG I think it was called.

Now they're all here so it's exploded with users. I think even @brb noted the huge traffic on the Mackem board.

But @Welshie is correct, at one time, well for quite a time, the sunderland board was good... Many folks used to pop by.
