Been praising Romero since the season we got him, I have never seen him make a mistake that led to a goal, his distribution is better than de Gea and he commands the area better.He's performed in every competition he's ever played in.
The unknown is how he'd step up to the pressure of being number 1?
I don't see pressure being a problem, he just chews his gum and looks totally without nerve in any game he plays.
You are right about de Gea saving us 20 points per season though (before he played for Spain), maybe he needs a break to re-assess his position and get his mojo back.
