Been praising Romero since the season we got him, I have never seen him make a mistake that led to a goal, his distribution is better than de Gea and he commands the area better.
I don't see pressure being a problem, he just chews his gum and looks totally without nerve in any game he plays.

You are right about de Gea saving us 20 points per season though (before he played for Spain), maybe he needs a break to re-assess his position and get his mojo back.
I don't keep up to date on backroom staff, have we changed goalkeeping coaches in the last couple of years by any chance?

He had Alvarez as coach for a long time iirc. He left or was booted out last summer I think. New coach came in but don't know much more than that.

De Gea's 29 ffs. That's no age at all for a goalie. He needs to fix up otherwise his peak will be somewhere in his mid-twenties.

it is still on if we are 3 points away from it mate.. I don't mind too much .. the takeover however
 
It's ok guys you can all breath easily now, the mighty NUFC are mathematically assured of Premiership football next season.
