Not at all. I’ve felt we are going to drop out since the turn of the new year, initially based on a feeling from December where although we picked up point, performances had turned to **** and we were lucky. It has escalated the last two months and something like a 15 point cushion will be about 7 after this weekend. We are in free fall, I’ve seen it before with is in 2013 when we were top (championship) in Feb and dropped out the playoffs until a last minute winner on the last day to go 6th. We are something like 1 point per game in the last 12 which isn’t far off half the season so far, on that basis, 10 games left we get 60 points at best. If the bar for 4th this that low that’s really poor for the league. I know the saying goes that the table never lies but it really does in our case.

The rot seemed to start when he used the Arsenal interest for his own gain and a new contract. His attitude looks like it has rubbed off on the players. Tbh I’m not sure who would now but I hope someone comes in for him in the summer and he moves on. I didn’t really want him in the first place due to his ego and attitude. He can get away with it when we were doing well but now, if he wants a bigger club, I hope he gets it and we can have someone in charge who does want to be with us and be a better influence on the players
