Not really a clear and obvious error by the ref. Decision should have stood on that basis. If the ref had given the free kick I wouldn't have been surprised. Keepers protection and all that.

They're always given as a foul so can't complain. In reality it's not a foul but the keeper always gets the decision in those situations.

Terrible decision imo, even if it's a foul then it's not clear and obvious and they got the ball back...
#bbcsalford was even calling for De Gea's yellow to be rescinded just because the goal was disallowed, as if you're allowed to assault officials so long as the VAR decision is in your favour
