I'd rather see England play to suit Vardy's game, getting in behind and in the channels. I know Kane can unlock a defence and score from a variety of situations, but he just slows us down too much for my liking.

Yeah Vardy has retired though bro. Rashford is defo next in the pecking order.

I'd definitely play that against the better sides where we're not gonna have much of the ball. I'd probably still play Kane against the **** sides though.

Vardy relies on his pace. Leicester rely on him heavily and play to his strengths. I can’t see Southgate doing that when he has Kane and Abraham, Rashford etc.

Yeah pretty sure he has.


And as I said to Tel, yeah maybe against the good sides when we'll be counter attacking but I don't think 3 pacey players up top is particularly effective against a team who will be more defensive.
