My comment wasn’t based on the pool game. I thought the Liverpool goal was a goal and VAR confirmed that, I’m not sure why it took so long to confirm though! The contentious offside decisions (I think with the city game that’s now 5 this weekend) is a discussion for another day.
I was answering a poster that basically said VAR has eradicated the unsavoury incidents in the game that we all hate, for example the diving. IMO it hasn’t made the slightest difference.
Sorry - I wasn’t clear :) I think it has removed the offside contentious issues
Just cause we don’t like the outcome doesn’t mean it’s not right

I really disliked bobby being given off for his armpit (for a start I don’t even think it’s possible to score a legit goal with your armpit look at the **** flying when we scored with shoulder involved lol) but at least we do have consistency - today’s wolves goal - I do not like that it’s offside but as soon as the lines went in I could see it was offside.

Despite the general clamour to say its Livarpool we could easily reverse it and say well maybe all these years decisions were being given against us unjustly.

when used correctly in the World Cup I think there were approx 4 incidents by the end which were contentious - that’s fantastic

at the end of the day our chief ref is going against protocol - and it is not working but it isn’t VARs fault

what we are clearly seeing is that the rules are not quite correct
Same with handball imho

Can’t believe no one has mentioned van dicks blatant hand ball in the build up to Liverpool scoring.
Tbh I thought it was handball on first view / real time and two of the angles really look like it did but two look like it didn’t
What was telling was that the Wolves player who was a lot closer than I said jolly jack so I am going to go with it probably didn’t

plus if we are going to go back that far on goals there was a goal kick given in the 10th min incorrectly - that may have had an effect on the goal too because action a led to action b etc

Celtic lifted the League Cup with a blatantly offside goal and now equalise by punching the ball into the net.

Anyone against VAR can follow Scottish football if that's the kind of thing they want.

Did you see Why the penalty was given in the first place?

Can you explain why Rangers had not been awarded a penalty for the same offence?

Touched a nerve obviously <laugh> ... sorry if I spoiled your vision of Virgil emerging from the shower you humourless, overly self important, twat <cheers>

Not at all, you weird old pervert. A comment about his hair becomes you fantasising about homosexuality again.

You should come out the closet, you old, overcompensating mess.
