That's that then. I'm quite excited about this team.. Couple of decent signings in the summer and we'll be a real force at the top. Pub it is.

I have said it before but after giving the city offside v West ham, the spurs one v Leicester and the Sheffield United one v us they are going to have to keep ****ing teams over cos the president has been set and you can not change the rules until the end of the season...the offside ruling are a joke.

The attacker used to get benefit of the doubt. The reason people go to games is, essentially, to see goals, right?

VAR rules seems hell bent on finding reasons to disallow them.

Unless it's ****ing scouse ****s in red of course.

It generally works for your lot mate!
VAR giveth VAR taketh away .
Never wanted VAR and nothing i have seen has changed my mind .
On today i could argue that if TAA committed a foul for their free kick then Ayew committed a foul on Lovren so decision was right but this is the problem with VAR as so many decisions are subjective .

The subjective ones should be left alone, that's the problem. We can argue about stuff like that in the pub after.

They're getting the ones wrong that should be obvious though. Off side should be easy. Not someone's toe, or elbow.

If it's level, give the goal for **** sake.

They need a clear daylight rule...so it's only offside if there is a clear daylight betwee the two player's upper bodies.
Either that or they get 10 seconds to look so it is only clear mistakes that are changed.

Unlike that goal the other week that was offside by a toe<laugh>
