You could always spend a few seasons in League One with your neighbours, maybe then you would look on things differently?

It was not organised by UEFA but accepted as being the predecessor (think I got it right)... stopped in 1971...first UEFA Cup was in 1972...won by Spurs...beat Wolves over two legs.

im tired of this **** ! our club has gone backwards under Ashley and its not so much league position as it is his PR .

Just had a look and yeah fifa apparently consider it a major honour. Seems a bit strange though as an invite only thing. Apparently it was sometimes Cities who competed rather than clubs - a London XI made the first final.

Champions League is open to losers these day. Modern age, always got to give the runner up fans something, to stop them from crying.

wrong we sold more than we spent after relegation both times.

I hope we don't get back up btw I want him gone and an owner that might even lie about caring and build an honest well run club like brighton or burnley

like I say whatever it takes .. I enjoyed the championship .. sunderland still topdogs or have they stopped singing that yet
