Up the addicks. Just got back and a little tipsy. I know I'm bias but after 5 mins I was fearing the worst and yet Sunderland never turned up. I thought we grew into the game and we were the better side overall. However, that may be the beer googles but **** it I don't care!!!!

Congratulations mate.

Thought you'd ****ed it after that horrendous OG. But fair play to Charlton, good to see them back up in the Championship again. Would love to see you back in the top flight again sometime in the future.

Cheers, but to be honest I would happily never see us in the Premiership. I think we can be a decent championship team where at least we can hold our own.

I was totally deflated at the end of the game. I got home just after 11 last night and by that time I was back to my usual self. That's footy isn't it?

Congratulations to @pieguts they deserved to go up. Our season went as well as we expected. We didn't even have enough players to play training games in pre-season. Next season I expect us to carry on building and go up automatically. It might be what we need long term.

I came home and read the thread on Duncan v PNP and very quickly I was laughing and smiling at you guys. I then watched Farage smash the EU elections winning 9 out of the 10 region votes so far, so I went to bed with a smile on my face. Today is a new day. We'll be back, we are Sunderland!

Commiserations mate ... and congratulations to @pieguts and Charlton.

Twelve months is a short time in football and I'd expect to see Sunderland promoted next season and most probably automatically <cheers>

So does anyone care about today’s play off final? Have any preferences?

Can’t say I really care. Seems a bit farcical as both teams seem to have a fair few loaned players which they won’t have next season. I’d quite like to see if lamps can do well in the prem and villa are one of those clubs that are of the size that should be there.

Will provide us with some local spice whoever comes up ... Wolves and Villa will be good from a local rivalry perspective

In terms of size of club I would have preferred Leeds for that ...

The loan market is making football ridiculous ...

Derby have the momentum ...

Don’t care who wins but will watch it as it’s usually a good game.

My mate who gives us Club Wembley tickets for cup finals couldn’t spare any for this game as he suddenly found out that he had loads of Villa supporting clients!

Sunderland, <laugh>.

Twas 7 years ago George...let it go before it consumes you.

If you don't follow my advice George you'll end up making a video calling sunderland fans twats and making yourself look a bit like the slow bloke from Of Mice and Men...and then everyone will call you looney lenny...
Be kind and compassionate like George...ok George?
