Like I said elsewhere, Pochettino's not done himself many favours in 2019.
Losing to Southampton, Burnley, Chelsea, City, Bournemouth and liverpool (losing 2 to last minute goals and 4 to goals in the last 10 mins) scoring only 3 goals does not look good on his CV.

When you throw in our record in all competitions in 2019...
8 prem wins
8 prem loses
1 prem draw

1 league cup win
1 league cup loss

1 FA Cup win
1 FA Cup loss

3 CL wins
2 CL losses

39 goals for 25 goals against.

7 v Tranmere
3 v Cardiff
4 v Huddersfield

10 clean sheets

With our squad that is pretty piss poor.

**** knows how we are still in the top 4.

Because us and Utd have been so ****. Might not be the case next season though.

No way could we have believed we'd finish top 4 this season.

If we do, it's a bonus .

What utter bullshit that is. You finished 3rd last season & 2nd the season before, why would top 4 this season have somehow been ‘beyond your belief’?

Talk about preparing the ground for a Spursy finish <laugh>

Losing 6 aways on the spin is ****ing ****e btw.

We’ve still got a relatively good core of players even if we do lose Eriksen and Toby so I don’t think it’s too late, it’s just later than what it should’ve been. I think the club has been cautious with money because of the new stadium so it’s hard to criticise them for not splashing huge sums of cash in recent years although it was stupid to have not signed anyone at all this season, though as I’ve already mentioned, that’s not just down to Levy.
Now the stadium’s here, I’d like to think to a certain extent it can start paying for itself and now the purse strings can be loosened a little to start bringing in the ideal level of players. I ain’t expecting us to spend a City-like-sum of £300m this summer but I think 3 or 4 good signings with a few young/ squad players isn’t too much to expect.
There’s a little question of paying off the extra half a billion quid first.

The problem with getting " a few signings" is that everyone around you need signings too so what pool of quality players there are are all going to be chased and with big wages too...

Because we had the disruption of playing at Wembley, of the move, and we’ve not signed one new player in well over a year.

I said at the start of the season that I thought top 6 would be as good as could hope for. But, most of our immediate rivals having played even worse than us has conspired to us being in the top 4.

The squad is threadbare and runnIng on fumes.

Sky must be praying for the title race to go to the last week cos they'll have a massive end of season ****fest with a 4 way battle for 2 CL places and the title decider

Come off it mate, if I could be arsed I’d go and find HIAG talking about how signing no one wouldn’t be a problem and you’d be great again this season.

Where’s a Leicester when you needed one? <whistle>

He might have said that, I don’t remember. But I never saw it that way.

It was always going to be a difficult season for us. Amplified by injuries to key players

Anyway, it makes our game next week hopefully extremely crucial, which I’m pleased about, as I hate last day strolls in the park. We owe Spurs more than one, so denying them CL football would be something we’d enjoy.

I wasn’t questioning your view, nor the view of any other Spurs fan mate, merely HIAG and his bullshit.

Kipper has been banging on all season about how great Spurs are. And here he is trying to play it down now they’ve gone all [HASHTAG]#spursy[/HASHTAG] again.

The ****ing fanny <laugh>

2 Teams at the top of the Prem, running away with it all. The rest just seem all over the place but I will be sticking £50 on Wolves next season to finish in the top 4..<ok>
