They'll give it a go ... but Ajax cut them to shreds at times tonight and the risk is that they will get picked off as they press ... and City didn't have the cushion of an away goal.

Mind you, it could have been a lot worse ... and they still have a puncher's chance <ok>
 
Hard loss to take that. Thought we put in a lot of effort but created very little, though without Son and Kane who’ve bagged 44 goals between them it was always gonna be tough.

Happy to say I’ve seen Frenkie play live now though, what a ****ing special talent that lad is and De Ligt is just a monster.
