Anyway thanks for your help with the iCloud stuff. Managed to locate it using the PC on the cloud website. But ****ed if I can access it on my phone, even though it shows me how much memory I'm using.
I think that’s probably the problem. The phone usually has 16-32gb. Having all your iCloud content on the phone would use a lot of space...photos you can share amongst all Apple devices that have the same ID.
I’ll look more later...there might be a way to get some of it on the phone anyway
I thought that was the idea of the cloud, so that it wasn't stored on the memory of your phone ? I thought the phone just accessed the cloud.
I told you all this ****ing cloud malarky was complicated !
I guess I can just access it from my phone by using the browser in the same way I do on the PC ?
At least I know it's somewhere now. Major ****ing faff for something that's supposed to be user friendly imo
Well, The Whole idea of a cloud is to store stuff that you don’t want to lose without using space on the device.
Plus, of course, it’s always there if you lose or change your phone. You just log the new phone in and download your content.
