  1. Why do you refer to Spurs as "Totteringham," Bambs?

That term was invented by hapless Gooners, in the days before them slinking into our shadow.

Are you suggesting that Arsenal are not, in fact, in our shadow?

Please explain your use of that word.

...well Quentin, it's like this ... the last time you had a real chance to win a title you tottered and fell short whilst real men (of the East Midlands) stood firm, strong and tall and went on into the history books ... similarly Liverpool wobbled when the title was within their grasp ... hence most football fans are conversant with the nicknames that both your clubs have 'earned' ... if that's not simple enough for you Quents, I'm truly sorry ...<ok>

  3. I didn't really catch much of that. However, I did catch the gist.

You appear to think that Spurs "totter" (hence, no doubt, to your hilarious use of the phrase "Totteringham") because, whilst we challenge consistently for titles, we have, up to now, fallen shy of actually winning, even though we are merely the fifth richest side in the Prem. By contrast - and forgive me if I have misinterpreted your argument, here (as I said, I find it difficult understanding your ramblings) - you consider Leicester to be a far more stable side because, despite the fact that your club is clearly in crisis and is going to yo-yo in and out of the relegation zone for the foreseeable future, you happened to have fluked the title - the one and only time that you are ever likely to win it.

I think that's what you said, Bambs.

... so you didn't catch it? ... but you did? ... still as confused as ever Quentin? ... you should embrace who you are Quents ... even if it makes you come across as a thick cnut to a few on here - not me, of course <ok> ... anyway, as I said.. Totteringham because you have always Tottered for the last 50 years when on the brink of any success ... glad we've cleared it up Quents ... and thanks for prompting that clarity ... you are providing a service to many on here ... there will always be a place for those that can refill the ink cartridges <ok>

By your own logic you admit that those blokes from East Midlands are not men nowadays?

Can't see any of them standing firm or strong etc etc...they've been wobbling ever since

But you're languishing at the bottom....that's not standing up, being firm, strong....teams fighting top 4 are made of sterner stuff..that's what your initial post was suggesting...your team of recent champs can't even get into the top 10....that's not much to shout about....by your logic Fosse.

That was an impressive dive from Silva for City. I look forward to it being reviewed by the new panel which saw fit to ban some bloke no one has heard of from Carlisle this week.

Trying to walk the ball into the net as usual. Definitely goals in this game though

Scary how similar they are to watching Liverpool!

  19. Everton 1 v 0 Arsenal
    (20 minutes)

I don't want to jinx this, so I am going to predict that Arsenal will romp this in the second half.
