Yep he deserves that. Don't get all the criticism of including him in the squad. It's a friendly ffs, and the bloke has given loads to the national team over the years.

Gerrard and lampard I would say are the two worst performers for England.

Possibly. They were both great players, but for some reason they just did not click together in the England team. Individually though, they were both really good for their country.
Cole was the only one from that (post Beckham) bunch who consistently took his club form into internationals imo.
