On a serious note I genuinely hope the lad deals with his anger issues and realises there’s more to life than shouting obscenities at his iPhone. It’s a tragic waste of a life if he remains in this cycle, there’s plenty of help out there. Even if United start winning trophies again I’m pretty sure that won’t sort his life out.

You'd hope that he's involved with services in the real world. The fact that he does some voluntary work at the garden centre makes me think he probably does get some support, as those sorts of schemes are usually set up by a support worker.

It's when he's left alone in his bedroom with access to the internet that his unregulated behaviour is a problem.
