Pep’s original style is starting to become obsolete and I think he knew that last season. It’s all about quick counter attacks now and moving the ball at pace. I expect to see his City team more like that this season.

It probably isn’t that easy though even if that is true which it isn’t. Took years for Ferguson to crack Europe and even then he managed it twice in a far longer career.

He’s the most successful manager in the history of Barcelona. They’d won fcuk all in this season before he took the job and for the first time ever in Spain, his team won the treble. A lot of players were promoted from within and he finally sorted out where to play Messi to get the best out of him. Second season they won the league with a record number of points.

The guy is literally a footballing genius.

His barca side paid refs while he was there.

He also cheated and was banned while playing for barca.

So excuse me if I think the world's best cheat has had it easy as **** but I do.

If you could take your nose from his arse you might see it too.

The club denied wrongdoing in a statement last month, saying they had simply paid an external consultant that supplied them with "technical reports related to professional refereeing", calling it "a common practice among professional football clubs".

The complaint focuses on the €2.9m paid between 2014 and 2018 and alleges that Barcelona - with the help of former presidents Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu - reached a "confidential verbal agreement" with Negreira.
