Yeah probably not a good thing to come out with, especially as lot of the onlookers will be very young children. Good it's given the parents something to do with the kids (school hols) yesterday and today - something positive for the economy with the parents getting mugged by their kid wanting a flag, shirt, scarf etc.

In 1979 Filbert St was the neutral ground for an FA Cup tie between Arsenal and Sheff Wed ... this is what used to happen when it was still all square after a replay... if it was still a draw it was played again at the neutral venue. I was 19 and went to the game(s) with my mates... supporting Wednesday because they played in blue and white! Sure there were at least 2 games at ours and think Arsenal went on to win the cup. Wednesday would have been in the old third division at the time. Filbert St was chosen as it was approximately equal distance from London and Sheffield. Didn't know much about Wednesday before the game - but there were 4 Pens in the old kop and Arsenal had one of them whilst Wednesday filled the other 3 - in fact they filled three quarters of the ground - incredible support.
