Seriously though, he’s barely if any upgrade on Harvey Barnes. A lot of money for someone who on the face of it looks like a squad filler.

Mate, I wouldnt even care and I am a Chelsea fan.
Its a ****house tournament, made so the yanks can cash in on a real sport.
The criteria for entry was mind boggling before it even started.
They shoe horned it so Messi appeared in it, even though his club had zero business being in a world championship tournament.
There were even efforts for the Saudi club who had bribed their way in to loan Cristiano Ronaldo for a month from the Saudi club who werent granted entry purely so he could feature in the tournament.
Can you imagine a similar thing happening in Europe? Barca siding up to Real Madrid like "mate, we entering some money spinner tournament, lend us Bellingham for a month will ya?" absolute ****ing fraud with a capital F by every metric.

and thats an indictment on what americans are doing to "soccer".
The only reason I am even half interested is two fold
1) I get to see our new signings early
and
2) The tourney is pretty much paying for all our summer spending.
And that is my only interest in getting as far as possible, because, lets face it, even if we hold out against Flayonnaise or whatever the **** they are called, we are probably gonna get turned over against PSG or Madrid anyhow.

yanks had sod all to do with it . All this is on Infantino and FIFA with a billion pond splash of Saudi Arabia
