One game away from leaving the pub league @Saf A great replacement when fosse leaves us in a few weeks
Nuneaton - Hinckley is in Leicestershire and staunch Foxes ... Nuneaton is Warwickshire on the border and is split... Not the key Derby we have for most outside of West Leicestershire... but always fun ...
... an will do so again ... can't just go about choosing a Premier League club to support for no apparent reason other than their success, just to be able to post on this board ...
It's hard to make a judgement really as every fan will consider theirs the best for obvious reasons. I generally prefer the ones with teams from different towns/cities as people are less known to each other through work etc. Best actual city derby for me is Villa Brum. Followed by Sheffield.
I dont. The Mersey derbys are mainly just Everton trying to cause injures and Liverpool trying to win a game. Hate when we play then for those reasons
The Old Firm is my favourite world football derby, proper hatred there. The best PL derby? Probably the NLD for me, though Sunderland - Newcastle is great too
So apparently the clubs putting on a pre final get together in Manchester for staff who can bring up to 5 guests. The guests will have to pay for thier own food and drinks tho.
A bloke i know is a Villa season ticket holder and also gets his dad a ST with the provisor he can't come to the Derby for obvious reasons.
Leeds v Man United is always 'fun' although not technically a Derby at all... as is West Brom v Wolves ... The Merseyside one was a bit of a 'love in' as I was growing up ... got nastier the more that the plastics jumped on the gravy train ...
Liverpool v Everton? Nah mate. Was at that Chester v Wrexham game where there were riots after Chester fans broke a minute’s silence for a Welsh mining disaster to sing about a Wrexham fan who had just died. Great evening. Actually Rochdale v Bury too. Bury fans loudly singing about their ex-player, now at Rochdale, whose mum had just died. TK, TK, how’s your mum?
