I actually thought it was offside straight away, but seeing the review and to lose it on a toe nail is where it becomes a farce.

 

The trialled system to announce the VAR decisions in the stadium really added to the drama in North London.

Referee Stuart Atwell announced through the stadium PA: "After a review Dominic Solanke is playing for Tottenham against Liverpool and so was in an offside position."

 

No ****ing offside this time

 

Bergvall was their best player when we played them at the weekend, deserved.

Fair play, I was going to link a picture of the Everton defence and say you had nothing to worry about and then I remembered Branthwaite is probably the best defender in Liverpool.

Well, he shouldn't have been on the pitch (and before you say one foul, remember Jota there last season), but no more than Spurs deserved. Lucky it was just one, tbh.

I think Ange would have been hoping for a better cushion going into Anfield.

1-0 gives them a bit of breathing room but its not optimal.
