We don't need anymore Bank holidays around April and May. Well unless they plan on dropping one in substitute. I always think the end of August upto Christmas is a long trek without a break. I'd rather have a Bank holiday around Thanksgiving, but as a share event to others, rather than family, ie donate food. It would be a good reminder to people before we take up feasting less than a month later...like we use to do at school, donating food.

Harvest Festival? We used to do that when I was in junior school in our local area (not a day off school but an event where we'd donate, etc). Usually early October i think.

Ah yes, that's the one Harvest Festival and yeah that's the sort of thing I mean. Something football could be taking on, much like the teddy bear one we saw from some country. Although not for fans to lob tins of beans lol....just a giving/collection point.

Yeah it was in Spain - Athletic Bilboa? I showed that video to my wife, she hates football but mostly just because of the amount of money/importance it seems to have and the hold it has over so many people, but was impressed with it.

It's such a simple thing that can make an impact if done correctly. Ideally clubs would get involved by doing something like giving a £10 discount off your next match ticket if you bring a gift, or £5 if you bring some food etc. The big clubs in particular can absolutely afford it and it will make all the fans go to the effort of actually turning up with stuff (plus, lets be honest here, the clubs will want to show off good PR and how generous their fans are, etc)

lol The US really get shafted with their public holidays, even worse than we do.
6 public holidays! And their paid leave allowance is also ridiculous, like 10 days a year.
Plus no enshrined Maternity/paternity leave for parents, in their federal law either.

We used do the same in Junior School, take in any food we could spare and it used to go to pensioners etc, that was in the fifties

Of course back then pensioners had dragged the country through 2 world wars. Not like the lazy ****s we have nowadays.

That was a joke, i repeat, that was a joke.

Just stuck it on and the crowd are singing “we’re ****ing ****” so I assume the form isn’t great.

We're just shhite, and correct form is poor, especially for the money spent.

Not sure what we do, we seem to have been on a management merry-go-round for the last three seasons, I think this is the fourth manager, I'm losing the will to count them. Fans will be demanding this one gone now, I have no answers so will just watch and observe whatever fall-out follows.

I said at the beginning of the season when we were top, we got lucky, and nowt has changed other than our fortunes.

Don’t know what to suggest other than signing Macaulay Bonne again.

I think Wimbledon have shown the answer, I've not seen Walsall so can't comment on them, but when Maddog got us out of this league you have to be able to look after yourself, and from what I saw of the butchering of Jorge Hurtado last season we are a complete bunch of pussies. I doubt the likes of Frampton, Keds and Burton would have put up with the shhite we saw previous game of Masterson being controlled by a headlock.

Yeah mate even I don’t know who those people are and I’ll watch literally anything.

Actually I remember Kedwell. And Masterson of course. Thought he’d make it.

Frampton was ex Millwall, and Burton was ex Pompey, Derby and Sheff Wed. Keds got Wimbledon promoted from non league by scoring the winning penalty in the play-off final.

Oh Deon Burton. Big hair. Played for that cool Jamaica World Cup team.

Frampton was a left-back. Can’t remember his hair. Never played for Jamaica famously.

Just looked to see what Burton is doing now, he's managing the WBA U23's.
