This is what you get when the manager is given a platform to continually refer to a couple of minor trophies as some major achievement for a club of United's size and stature. If you repeat a lie often enough, people will eventually believe it. And it certainly looks like the players have bought in to Ten Hag's falsification of his record. They just don't care enough because the bar isn't set high enough.
